Pulp Xmas

Ok ok, you've seen it before, but I'll bet you laughed. And you will probably laugh again, just like I did. I can't help it; how can you not love it when lovable christmas characters swear at each other?

You're a Slut!

Well, I watched the video, I read the article, and all I can say is that I wish there were more dolls out there with the brutally direct honesty that Miss Ariel has shown. Way to stand up to the BS and tell it like it is, I say. Enough with the self-esteem mongers, let's break it down a bit.
Could this be the first doll ever that I would accept as a present? Hmmmm...

Diet Coke/Mentos Experiments

These guys have way too much time on their hands...

I'm Dreaming of a White Mime

This is one of the strangest performances I've seen in a long time. Leave it to the French to keep up the frigid edge of the avante-garde...

Platz Family Thanksgiving

Ah yes, the good old famly thanksgiving. Gotta love it! Fun picture of the whole crew from this year.

Flatulence vs Airline Safety

This is just silly. Do people really light their farts on fire just to mask the smell? There's something I'm missing in this story...

Mary Tyler Muslim

So this new sitcom, based on muslims trying to find balance in western life... as the article points out, the demographics are going to be very split. The younger generation will be much more accepting right off the bat, and the older generations will not be so quick to accept the humor. Beyond that, I have no idea if your average joe will be amused by this, since most people don't have alot of experience with muslims, and moreover the general attitude is probably something along the lines of unease, residual from all the extremist muslim propaganda we take in.

Pre-Date Confidence Builder

Ok, me posting this is probably far more indicative of my boredom than anything else... although it is pretty funny.

Zefrank, doing his thing.

Shyness

Ok, Kally. You win this round...

State of the Union

Ah. Well, so let's see where we're at.

I theoretically have a job (waiting on pointless drug test and background check).
I theoretically have an apt (placed deposit and application already, just waiting for lease signature, etc).
I am ready to rock, but I am still in this damnable holding pattern until I can really move forward.
Polishing off books by the set and shifting through some of the catch-up kind of things I've been putting off, but I'm basically two weeks out from starting the next stage of my life in earnest.

other than that, I'm just relaxing (read: bored). So let's get this show on the road, already.

Army/Navy Game

Well, the dust has settled, and Navy was once again victorious over Army, in their annual meeting of football and fan-based tailgate taunting. Good times. Highlights of the game, for me, included making Donald Rumsfeld stand up so I could get past him to reach my seat, telling larry's wife that with enough rum, even larry would look good, and of course the free beer and chili in the VIP room (still not sure how I got into that place...)
