2. A measure of the loss of sanity in a transmitted message, especially e-mail/blog/myspace.
3. The tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve toward a state of hyperactive non-sequiteur.
4. The conscious resistance to the inevitable and steady deterioration of a system: society.
There's no argument with Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking being giants of our age, in the understanding and explanation of our universe. But that their thoughts and speech could be turned into a song tribute to their work like this just kind of makes me giddy. That said, whoever did this definitely has too much time on their hands...and thank goodness.

Great podcast / transcript on NPR about the impact of raw foods on digestion and the like. Makes you really think about the various kinds of propaganda you hear from all directions in the debates about dieting and food stuffs. Crazy.

I can’t believe this kid killed a guy with a samurai sword. Well. I mean I can believe it, but it sure wasn’t what I expected to see on the news today…
I mean, the fact that they did this with $150 is pretty damned impressive...I wonder how we'll be able to make this work for other crazy stuff? For instance, why not a high-altitude launch platform based around a helium-filled dirigible? Zeppelins launching spacecraft? I mean seriously, let's get a little more creative, people.
Armadillo Aerospace, kickin ass with their execution of the X-prize competition governing lunar landers. Very cool stuff...and crazy that it seems like such a small vehicle until the very end when you see a bunch of little men run up to put out the fire...holy crap, it's big!
This is getting to be a little bit much… I mean they’re attacking all of the sci-fi icons of my youth! Cyberdyne Systems from Terminator, HAL from 2001, all kinds of sci-fi movies that have human-machine hybrid exo-skeletons…
I’ll tell ya, though, I can’t wait to try one of these puppies out…
Next-Gen jet engine technology has been getting lip service for awhile now, but I think the scramjet technology is the real deal. Here's to hoping...
