Coolest Nuke Ever

A micro-size nuclear reactor. Hell yeah. For those that are familiar with Isaac Asimov, it smacks of the Foundation... I don’t know how realistic this thing is, and what the regulatory environment would allow in America, but this could be a totally disruptive means of decentralizing the electrical grid. Very cool. And imagine what it might mean for other applications, too. Consider the fact that this same design could probably be scaled down even further, such that it could power watercraft, rail engines, large trucks, I mean the possibilities here are truly wide open. This will of course be largely dependent upon the actual design specifics of the unit, but I am very excited to see the details behind it…
